Shane Jones, our CEO founded SJGunsmithing in 2023 in Flanders, NJ to pursue his dream of owning his own small business. Shane is an Ordained Minister with the Universal Life Church and has presideded over numerous funeral services, marriages and baptisms.

Shane also is a certified Notary Public in the State of New Jersey and he carries $25,000 of Errors and Omissions (E&O) insurance. 

Shane is a Certified NRA Rifle and Shotgun instructor. He also is a NRA Range Safety Officer. He pocesses a NJ SORA Level II Armed Security Guard Licence and he has 10+ years of experience with firearms. He has worked on countless firearms as a gunsmith ranging from Staccato's to Glocks. He is a certified Law Enforcement Glock Armorer and a Sig Sauer P320 Law Enforcement Armorer through the American Gunsmithing Institute. 

During his time off, Shane enjoys going to metal and rock concerts, shooting (of course), watching different star wars series, spending time with his fiance and his dog. He is also an adult leader with the Boy Scouts of America and is involved with the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary.

SJGunsmithing is still in the process of obtaining their Federal Firearms Licence (FFL) and is unable to provide gunsmithing services until this is obtained. We are projecting that this department will be operational come late 2023 or early 2024. Stay tuned!
